If history repeats itself (regarding Jobs’ original seat at the Apple throne) this would be about the time that apple takes another nose dive – so for now I’m betting on Adobe (they’ve also got Microsoft and Google in their corner so Apple is in for a heck of a fight).
Apple is right on this one, but Adobe can always ask for a rematch in the future.
For Battery sake flash eats it up way to fast for the time being and putting so much stress on mobile devices isn’t fair either. He is right to say its a desktop application for sure.
The iphone/ipad can play video media I am fine with it.
Adobe would definitely win. Adobe is killer in the hands of a person who knows what they’re doing, only crap in the hands of lazy designers/developers. Apple, IMO, is all style and no substance. TKO.
I’d have to go with Adobe winning – not because I like them more (a mac is my dream computer, and I hate adobe products with a passion), but the problem I see is that a lot of other people make computers, mp3 players, etc, but there’s no other products I’ve found that can match photoshop, illustrator or indesign (for all their faults and how often I want to stab them when they crash – and believe me, I’ve looked)
Adobe. Like a previous commenter said, Apple is all style and no substance.
I greatly dislike Adobe, but Adobe has other giants on its side. Apple also has Uncle Sam looking at a Sherman case against them (not that I agree with Sherman).
Adobe will prevail in an Adobe-Apple cage match. The real question is, though, should we really believe that the images of the aftermath haven’t been Photoshopped?
I can’t believe no one’s rooting for Apple. Guess I’ll be the only one making the big bucks off of bets when my Stevie wins. No one could ever touch Apple. They rulz the offline almost as scarily as Google does the online.
True, but Flash sure knows how to bring down Safari…
Boy I don’t know, I want so badly for both to win, but there can only be one.
I’d say Adobe–Steve has brittle bones. (:

The fact of the matter is right now, Adobe has more allies in its corner. And safety comes in numbers.
Nobody can win because there’s no actual war and no actual enemies.

But I would still be cheering for apple

LOLOLOL That was something I didn’t think of
