What do you prefer to drink while working? Coffee or Tea? Caffeine, DeCaf, or Caffeine-Free?

I’m a big caffeine-free tea drinker :)

  2. Megan C says:

I start my day with caffeinated coffee, switch to caffeinated tea after lunch, then after about 5pm I switch to decaf tea.

  3. Brian says:

Tea, I don’t like coffee and tea is healthier

  4. Mauro VerĂ³n says:

Tea ! Lots of tea !
Specially Earl Grey tea :P !

Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee!!

    I love the stuff.

Tea is ok on occasion but a nice cup o’joe works everytime.

  6. I can not work without many cups of tea, it is my life juice…..normal caffeine injected tea ..slurp

  7. Catherina says:

Tea!! No caffeine. Going against the stereotype.

  8. It’s interesting that tea is winning…always thought coffee was more popular :P

    • Brian says:

I think tea drinkers are just more vocal about their preference. Coffee drinkers… we’re just addicts. Enough said.

I tried switching to tea a few times but I always come crawling back to my sweet morning brew of coffee :)

  9. David W. says:

I make a (giant) cappuccino in the morning, as caffeinated as I can make it! My coffee maker broke last year leaving me with just an old espresso machine, which I saw as an opportunity to learn how to make kickass cappuccinos. That might have been one of my more significant accomplishments last year….

After that I switch to tea. A LOT of tea. I’ll have one or two cups of caffeinated teas, then switch over to decaf. I have a really nice three liter hotpot made for keeping water tea-hot (thanks, you crazy Japanese gadget makers!) and go through it about once a day.

Black tea with honey… mmmmm! Btw the website revamp looks great!

I am a big Monster energy drink, drinker. I’ve got a 24 pack in my fridge right now actually.

But, if I had to pick between coffee and tea, I’d choose… Monster. lol I do not really like coffee or tea. I had a green tea experiment to see if I could do it for 30 days. I didn’t make it a week.

    • Matthew says:

Have you tried white tea? It’s like green tea, but without the grassy aftertaste and with a more delicate flavour. I find it a lot more palatable than green tea.

  12. I am a major caffeine junkie! I have weaned myself off the hard stuff (Espresso’s) during the week now though while I’m working, and drink strong Green Tea as a healthy alternative. But… once it hits Saturday I’m back on the Espresso’s! :D

  13. Tristan says:

Starting with tea in the morning, and some coffee the rest of the day.

  14. Xabadu says:

Normally just water, but if I have to choose between coffee or tea: coffee all the way, at least a couple of times a day. Never liked tea much to be honest.

Btw, the site looks awesome. Congrats!

  15. Tea for sure. I’m not even joking when I say I think I’m addicted to it. Being “British” doesn’t help. When I was in Germany for the MUTW project I cleared the place of darjeeling tea.

The type of tea depends on my mood. Sometimes I’m in the mood for black tea with sugar, other times it’s black tea without sugar or green tea. I switch between caffeine and decaf but I never take sugar or milk in decaf.
