Sad as it may sound, my last table-based site was my portfolio as it was in 2006-2007. It’s easy to tell even in the screenshot here: http://tinyurl.com/35s4mfn
As for old, embarrassing sites. *gulp* The oldest surviving images or files I can find is this screenshot of one of my first client projects from 2001. I made it for my then g/f’s boss. http://tinyurl.com/32rhqj6 It’s all tables and no CSS at all. I busted my hump making the javascript dropdown menu one summer, which was four files spanning almost 900 lines of hideous code (it barely worked, was very glitchy, and only worked in IE). I never got past the concept, and it never got used. They ended up paying an accountant in-house $600 to make a page on Angelfire. He mostly plastered it with hockey logos and weather widgets.
First table website I did was back in 2004, really wish I could find it but it’s probably gone forever since it was hosted for free in geocities. It was a Flash fan page since I was really into the Justice League back then.
LOL, I remember trying to create my first website back then using the HTML4 for Dummies book but I gave up because I couldn’t figure out what a Browser was.
Ah, Stevey… what a character lol. I lol’d at that photo of the young Steve – he was looking rather pleased with himself holding that apple.
I remember back when I started University (college to you americano’s) I used to relish in using the ever wonderful Flash content pre-loaders. I used to sit back in awe of sites using fancy preloaders lol.

My first tables site was done in 1998-1999ish. It was still around here somewhere – gotta find the link.
