The Death of an App

Posted on 10/17/12 in blog, whateververse about ,

Yesterday I decided to put up my beloved app, Codesnipp.it, for sale. Codesnippit was the very first side project I ever took on and came with the added bonus of being able to do something with my husband (who’s a PHP programmer).

However 3ish years later, my poor Codesnipp.it has sat there stagnant and unloved. It’s been through two design versions and three backend programmers and a front-end developer (me) who just doesn’t have the time to update it. It deserves more.

It’s always hard to let something go – especially something you’ve spent so much time on. But I’m hoping Codesnipp.it will be bought by someone who can ignite the passion I once had for the app. Here’s hoping.

You can bid on Codesnipp.it here.
