Here are the results from the Twitter poll I took today – quite surprised at the results, didn’t think jQuery and Ruby would be the winners.

What are you wanting to learn?

A couple of friends of mine and I have been talking about learning jQuery a lot lately. Just started playing with HTML5 so maybe after that. Cool poll though, interesting list.

Nice graph! RWD is at the top of my list… because I already know jQuery & Rails ;]

In fact, I’m having a blast sharing what I’ve learned with other people diving into the sweet waters of web development: http://decielo.com/training

Did you have an easy way to collect poll results, or did you do it manually? How many total replies?

  3. In learning JQuery I would highly recommend http://tutsplus.com/course/30-days-to-learn-jquery/ I’ve been using this as you get a 15-20 minute video everyday for 30 days to learn at your own pace and is a nice easy way to learn and progress visually rather than traditionally a book or static website.

  4. @Damian – I signed up for the tutsplus 30 day course earlier this week. I haven’t watched any of the videos yet, though. I’m saving them for this weekend.

Aside from jQuery, Sass is high on my list. I’d also like to learn to work better with color. That’s two more things than you asked for, but I don’t think I could limit myself to learning only one thing. I’d get bored. :)
